Health & Safety
As a club, we are committed to ensuring our members can enjoy their riding in a safe environment. It is important to know that Clevedon Pony Club is a shared facility which means we have separate insurance for our riders on our grounds, which means we need to be vigilant of guests using our grounds.
We have a health and safety management system which aligns with the New Zealand Pony Club H&S Plan. All members and visitors must read and obey our health and safety notices which are posted on the wall of the clubrooms. There are hazards on site which are notified within these notices, and it is everyone's responsibility to familiarise with these and to look after their own health and safety when using the Pony Club facilities.
In the unfortunate case of an accident or incident, First Aid kits are available in the clubrooms. At each event we provide a qualified first aider and/or an ambulance with EMT in accordance with NZPCA rules.
